Hybrid Vision: Photo Log by Stephen Cameron

This is a Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) flower back-lit by the sun. I didn't edit this at all apart from the usual resize for posting here. I thought about cropping it for a more dramatic effect and to highlight some of the detail but I couldn't come up with anything I was happy with so I kept my original framing. Lens used was the Vivitar 90mm macro - I've been inspired to use it a lot more lately. It takes a lot more patience but the results are worthwhile.
