2005-08-13 - Mix it Up
I've always wondered if all the little dials and knobs on a mixing desk actually do something or are just there for decoration - it seems like a crazy number of controls to be able to practically use!
While watching some live music in Queenstown (part of the Winter Festival Mardi Gras), I noticed this mixing desk and was drawn to the patterns made by the array of dials and buttons. The light was really low so I had to use my 50mm lens at F/2.5 and 1/25s, ISO 1600, handheld. Quite happy with the results.
