2007-01-07 - Mudford

When I arrived at Woodford it had been raining for the last couple of days and things had started to get mucky. The first drama came when trying to get to the camp site and having to drive up a steep, muddy slope. Cars kept getting stuck in front of me and there was no room to turn around, so I had to reverse all the way back to the main road way, trying not to run over anyone or hit any oddly parked cars. Great fun!

Fortunately, as soon as I found a camping spot and parked, the rain stopped and cleared away. However, the damage was done and a lot of paths and especially the areas around the main stages had turned into giant mud baths. Everyone got quite muddy — some more than others!
