Hybrid Vision: Photo Log by Stephen Cameron

Another same-day photograph today. I was out in the garden this evening and spotted this dragonfly perched on the branch of a bougainvillaea plant. It doesn't really show from this angle but it had the most amazing blue eyes and stripes on the sides. I spent a while trying to work out the species but I haven't been able to find anything that looks exactly like this. The closest seems to be an Australian Tiger dragonfly but it isn't quite the same. If anyone has an idea, please let me know!
