As the title of today's photo hints, this was the 9,999th photo I took with my beloved Nikon D70, since getting it last July. I can't express how happy I've been with this camera! It has already paid for itself in photos I previously never dreamt of getting...
This old tree in the photo is quite near my house and has long held my interest. I've never really been able to capture it as well as I want so this time I went the closest I'd been to it and tried for a different angle. I quite like the colours and light in this because the daylight was all but gone and it didn't look like anything special to the human eye.
