2005-06-05 - Dusty Demons
When it comes to photographic opportunities, I think I'm pretty lucky to live where I do - plenty of wildlife and scenery but also a motorcross track just down the road - what more could I ask for! :-)
Earlier today I heard the motorbikes racing, and being an overcast day, I thought it was the perfect opportunity for some motorcross photography. If I remember correctly, this was my second attempt at motorcross photography with the D70 but my first time using my much loved 70-210mm F/4 lens. The longer lens and nicer lighting conditions helped a lot but I really feel like I'm getting better: I'm a really happy with my results compared to last time. I had also been visualising a shot like this so to actually get it was very satisfying. Definitely worth getting covered in all that dust.
