2005-06-13 - On The Run
In my lunch hour today I went to watch the state championship hockey finals that were on nearby. I only had time to catch the women's game (Gladstone vs. Mackay) but it gave me a good opportunity to practice some action shots.
I was also trying a custom tone curve (sReala) for the first time in my camera - it is designed to increase the dynamic range in the photos and I definitely needed it under the harsh lighting conditions. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way the curve worked and it should mean less post processing work for me in the future - bonus!
