2007-11-22 - The Monolith
This massive granite sculpture, known as The Monolith, forms the centre-piece to the amazing Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo, Norway. The incredible thing is that it is all carved from a single block of granite and it took 10 months to design and 14 years for 3 stone carvers to complete! There are 121 human figures intertwined in the sculpture - can you count them?
